Skinlover is a two piece band from Lincoln, United Kingdom who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Skinlover play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of metal, crust, doom, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Skinlover can loosely be compared to bands such as Wake, Woundvac, Fulgora, Chepang, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Skinlover have released a ten song LP titled Lyn Skyvver in June of 2017 and a split with FilthxCollins in January of 2018. I is Skinlover's latest EP, which was released via Vetala Productions, Riproaringshitstorm, and Finland Hardcore Collectyive on December 14th, 2018. On I, Skinlover offer up six tracks of vicious, brutal, and scathing metal, crust, doom, and grindcore. Overall, I makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended!
