Soakie is a four piece band from NYC and Melbourne, Australia who formed in 2018. Soakie play a raw, blistering, and scathing style of bare bones hardcore/punk. Musically, Soakie can be loosely compared to bands such as Rudimentary Peni, Poison Girls, The Feederz, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Soakie have released a seven song demo titled Dangerous Doge in February of 2018. This is the band's latest 12", which was released via La Vida Es Un Mus on February 10th, 2020. On their latest self-titled MLP, Soakie offer up seven tracks of raw, vicious, and ugly sounding no-frills hardcore/punk. Overall, Soakie's latest MLP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
