Horsewhip is a four piece band from St. Petersburg, Florida who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Horsewhip feature members of Combatwoundedveteran and Reversal Of Man, so going on that alone, you know you're in for some insanely awesome music. Horsewhip play an intense style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and crust within their sound. Musically, Horsewhip can be loosely compared to bands such as Cursed, Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, Moral Void, Baptists, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Horsewhip have released a self-titled seven song EP, which was released in September of 2018. Laid To Waste is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Financial Ruin and Roman Numeral records on September 25th, 2020. On Laid To Waste, Horsewhip offer up eleven tracks of brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, and crust. Overall, Laid To Waste makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
