Black Magnet is the one person musical project from Oklahoma City based James Hammontre, who began performing under the monniker of Black Magnet in 2017. Black Magnet play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of industrial, metal, and noise within their sound. Musically, Black Magnet can be loosely compared to bands such as Ministry, Front 242, Pitch Shifter, Nine Inch Nails. Since forming in 2017, Black Magnet has released a self-titled four song EP in March of 2018. Hallucination Scene is the Black Magnet's debut full-length LP, which was released via 20 Buck Spin records on September 4th, 2020. On Hallucination Scene, Black Magnet offer up eight of harsh and abrasive sounding industrial, metal, and noise. Overall, Hallucination Scene makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
