Heinous is a three piece band from Phoenix, Arizona who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Heinous play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Heinous can be loosely compared to bands such as WVRM, Deathrite, Nails, Woundvac, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Heinous have released a seven song EP titled Gore From The Gutter in December of 2016, a five song EP titled Exoneration Thru Exhumation in May of 2017, a five song EP titled Four Under The Floor in August of 2017, a cover of Unholy Grave's Broken Into Pieces in July of 2018, a fifteen track LP titled The Basement in July of 2018, and a seven song EP titled Apprehended Dead in February of 2019. The Basement-Slowed is the band's latest LP, which was released on March 22nd, 2019. On The Basement-Slowed, Heinous offer an alternate slowed down version of their 2018 LP, the Basement. Overall, The Basement-Slowed makes for an awesome listen and makes for an interesting slower alternate version of their Basement LP. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
