Black Water is a five piece band from Kiel, Germany who formed in 2008. Blackwater play an ominous, oppressive, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of black metal and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Blackwater can be said to be influenced by bands such as Cattle Decapitation, Dark Funeral, Suffocation, Deranged, Hate Eternal, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2008, Blackwater have released a four song EP titled Founded In The Shambles in June of 2012. Weltgeist Corrupted is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via WOOAAARGH records on November 10th, 2017. On Weltgeist Corrupted, Blackwater offer up nine tracks of brutal and vicious as fuck sounding black metal and grindcore. Overall, Weltgeist Corrupted makes for a killer listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
