(U.S.) Of Feather And Bone-Sulfuric Disintegration LP (2020)

Country: USA

Genre: Black Metal, Death Metal, Grindcore

Label: Profound Lore

Tracks: 6

Length: 29.40'

Of Feather And Bone is a three piece band from Denver, Colorado who formed in 2016, from the looks of things.  Of Feather And Bone play a raw, ugly, and filthy style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, death metal, and grindcore within their sound.  Musically, Of Feather And Bone can be loosely compared to bands such as Ilsa, Infernal Coil, Noose Rot, Scorched, Tomb Mold, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2016, Of Feather And Bone have released a self-titled demo in 2016 and a seven song LP titled Bestial Hymns of Perversion in March of 2018.  Sulfuric Disintegration is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Profound Lore records on November 13th, 2020.  On Sulfuric Disintegration, Of Feather And Bone offer up six tracks of raw, ugly, and filthy sounding black metal, death metal, and grindcore.  Overall, Sulfuric Disintegration makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

OF FEATHER AND BONE + TOMB MOLD + GUESTS @ SAINT VITUS BAR

OF FEATHER AND BONE (TOP) TOMB MOLD (BOTTOM)

SKULLSHITTER (LEFT) PINK MASS (RIGHT)

2018 has marked an increase in my consumption of Death Metal. Of Feather and Bone along with Tomb Mold seem to be two of the more talked about active bands right now in the genre. The two paired nicely for a great night of brutal metal. Pink Mass and Skullshitter opened the evening. Both Tomb Mold and Of Feather and Bone exceeded all of my expectations for what I would see. I highly recommend catching any of these bands live if you can. They are all worth the price of admission. Hope you enjoy the photos.

MAY 2014 UPDATE

So I'm still completely and utterly failing at updating this blog, and again I apologize profusely. I've been in a horrible mood for what seems like forever and until just recently, I haven't even been listening to hardly any fucking music at all. But, I have heard some real killer shit lately, so, I thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy.

It was just announced that Denver's Of Feather And Bone has signed with Mind Melt Entertainment. They will have a new record out later this year. Go ahead and set aside some space on your computer or MP3 player because after you download their EP & Demo, you're going to be listening to it non-stop. False Healer is just about as devastating as 6 songs can get, a brutal barrage of dark hardcore full of crust and grind.
