Bleed The Pigs are a four piece band from Nashville, Tennessee, who formed in late 2013, from the looks of things. Bleed The Pigs play a vicious and chaotic as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, powerviolence, and grindcore within their sound. Since their inception in 2013, Bleed The Pigs have released a six song EP titled Mortis Fatum in January of 2013, a seven song EP titled Overcompensations For Misery in May of 2014, a Flowers In D-Minor (Nirvana Covers) EP in October of 2014, and a 2 song EP titled Mind in Matter in July of 2015. On their side of this split LP, Bleed The Pigs offer up seven tracks of chaotic hardcore, punk, sludge, powerviolence, and grindcore. Thetan is the second band featured on this split LP. Thetan is a two piece band from Nashville, Tennessee who formed in early 2011. Thetan play a raw ad ugly style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and grindcore within their sound. Since their inception in 2011, Thetan have released a split with Bible Thumper in September of 2012, a split cassette with Downpour in March of 2013, a thirteen song LP titled Laughed At By The Gods in May of 2014, and a split LP with Seek, Alter Of Complaints, and Stubborn Father in February of 2015. On their side of the split LP, Thetan offer up eight tracks of raw and completely unhinged tracks of hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and grindcore. This split LP was released via Dead Tank records on March 2nd, 2015. Overall, this is a killer LP and is an absolute must listen for fans of modern hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and grindcore.
