Vulgarian play a vicious, ugly, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, sludge and crust within their sound. Musically, Vulgarian can be loosely compared to bands such as Senior Fellowes, Chained To The Bottom Of The Ocean, Throes, Great Falls, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, Vulgarian have released a two song demo titled Thoughts And Prayers in February of 2020 and a digital single titled DPD in October of 2020. Nothing Has Changed is the band's latest EP, which was released on August 2nd, 2021. On Nothing Has Changed, Vulgarian offer up three tracks of ugly, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, sludge, and crust. Overall, Nothing Has Changed makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!

This is the band's debut demo, which was released via Iron Lung and Quality Control records on August 2nd, 2021. On their self-titled demo, Direct Threat offer up eight tracks of harsh, ugly, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore/punk. Overall, Direct Threat's debut demo makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Midwife is the moniker of multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter Madeline Johnson, who began performing under the name Midwife in 2017. Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Midwife plays a dreamy, hazy, atmospheric, and introspective-leaning style of music that incorporates elements of metal, alt. rock, and shoegaze within their sound. Since forming in 2015, Midwife have released a nine song LP titled Like Author, Like Daughter in June of 2017, a four song LP titled Prayer Hands in July of 2018, a most recently collaboration LP with Amulets, Mark Trecka and Susan Alcorn titled In/Heaven in August of 2020, and a six song LP titled Forever in April of 2020. Luminol is Midwife's latest full-length LP, which was released via The Flenser on July 16th, 2021. On Luminol, Midwife offer up six tracks of hazy, dreamy, and atmospheric metal, alt. rock, indie rock, and shoegaze. Overall, Luminol makes for an amazing listen and will probably end up being another one of my favorite albums released in 2020. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
