The Passing is a four piece band from Los Angeles, California who formed in 2019. The Passing play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, The Passing can be loosely compared to bands such as Impalers, Hellripper, Shoki, No Power, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, The Passing have released a self-titled five song demo in September of 2020. This is the band's latest EP, which was released via Caligari records on September 15th, 2019. On their latest EP, The Passing offer up seven tracks of vicious, ugly, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, The Passing's debut EP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
