Sleeping Tigers are a three piece band from Salt Lake City, Utah who formed in 2017. Sleeping Tigers play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of doom, sludge, desert rock, stoner metal, grunge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Sleeping Tigers can be said to be influenced by bands such as Soundgarden, Melvins, Big Buisness, Baroness, Unsane, Queens Of The Stoneage, Clutch, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Sleeping Tigers have released a two song EP titled Ancient Request in March of 2017 and a digital single titled Free Life in April of 2019. Darkest Cave is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Forbidden Place records on December 11th, 2020. On Darkest Cave, Sleeping Tigers offer up six tracks of killer doom, sludge, desert rock, stoner metal, grunge, and noise rock, Overall, Darkest Cave makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
