Sprain is a four piece band from Los Angeles, CA who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Sprain play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, noise rock, indie rock, and slowcore within their sound. Musically, Sprain can be loosely compared to bands such as Unwound, Slint, Codeine, Duster, Broken Water, Estates, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Sprain have released a digital single titled Anything in February of 2018 and a digital single titled Norwegian Black Metal in April of 2018. This is the band's debut EP, which was released on August 3rd, 2018. On their debut EP, Sprain offer up five tracks of killer post hardcore, post rock, noise rock, indie rock, alt. rock, and slowcore. Overall, Sprain's debut EP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
