Makthaverskan is a four piece band from Gothenburg, Sweden who formed in 2009. Makthaverskan play a dreamy, melodic, and atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze and indie rock within their sound. Since forming in 2009, Makthaverskan have released self-titled nine somg LP in September of 2009, a nine song LP titled II in March of 2013, a two song 7" titled Something More in July of 2013, and a two song 7" titled Witness in March of 2015. III is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Run For Cover records on October 20th, 2017. On III, Makthaverskan offer up ten tracks of dreamy, melodic, and atmospheric sounding shoegaze and indie rock. Overall, III makes for a great listen and definitely should not be missed.
