Breag Naofa is a five piece band from Seattle, WA who formed in August of 2010. Breag Naofa play a dense, claustrophobic, and oppressive style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, crust, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Breag Naofa can be loosely compared to bands such as Eyehategod, Buzzoven, Lightbearer, and Amen Ra. Since forming in 2010, Breag Naofa have released a four song self-titled LP in February of 2014, a split LP with Monuments Collapse in December of 2013, a split with Children Of God in September of 2014, a two song EP titled Cearo in April of 2017, and a five song LP titled II in August of 2017. This is a repressed/remastered version of Cearo, which was released on April 2nd, 2017. Cearo is a a two-song, concept EP. This is a painful journey of loss and betrayal with no resolution, according to the band's bandcamp page. Cearo features two tracks of ominous and crushing songs of post metal, crust, doom, and sludge. Overall, Cearo makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended!
