As a tribute to a 1992 split 2x7" between Septic Death and Rocket from the Crypt (limited to 100) on Pushead's Bacteria Sour label, Integrity and Bleach Everything offer their own modern takes on both bands in the form of a split LP.

With "SDK" (Septic Death Karaoke), Integrity utilizes some original Septic Death source material and layers their own vocal and guitar overdubs atop five of the band's classics. While previous "SDK" releases exist with some of these songs, Dwid Hellion and Domenic Romeo completely re-recorded and overhauled entirely new 2019 takes on all material while offering up "Sweat of a Nightmare" for the very first time.

On "RFTCC" (Rocket From The Crypt Covers), Bleach Everything erect monolithic tributes to Rocket From The Crypt entirely from scratch, adding speed to "Middle," multi-part harmonies and guest vocalists (Riley Gale of Power Trip, Mike Kennerty of The All-American Rejects) to "On a Rope," psychedelia to "Sturdy Wrists," a deconstructed meditation on "I'm Not Invisible" in the form of a passage titled "Vital Signs," and the album's conclusion: a heavy, slowed-down take on "I'm Not Invisible" in all its glory, capped off by an outro from Christopher Royal King of This Will Destroy You.

In further celebration of Septic Death and Rocket From The Crypt's enduring legacies, this album sees release on the only day that makes sense: Halloween 2019.

*Damn, this is an awesome split featuring re-interpretations of the Rocket From The Crypt/Septic Death double split 7" by Integrity and Bleach Everything.  Integrity offer up five Septic Death covers and Bleach Everything offer up five covers by Rocket From The Crypt.  Overall, this is a killer LP an definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy! Among The Rocks And Roots is Abdul Hakim-Bilal and Samuel Goff from Richmond, Virginia. They play an aggressive, long and winding style of Noise Rock rooted in ritualistic ideas of trance-induction. 'Raga' is their second full-length album out of a proposed trilogy that started with 'Samdura Garba Pathe' in 2015 and will end with 'Pariah'. According to a band's statement, this trilogy details the cumulative journey that both members have taken from dealing with issues that led up to a period of addiction for both of them. While their first album details how both of them got there, 'Raga' is now the anger, hatred and frustration of keeping up this journey through those issues and addiction. The lyrics deal with issues ranging from physical, mental and sexual abuse, sleep paralysis, racism, police brutality and isolation. 'Raga' is available in a very limited double vinyl edition and digital format through Purple Tape Pedigree on march 02,2018. This is some really distressed heavy and doomy world music exploring the darkest recesses of the soul. Absolutely amazing stuff.! Highly recommended.!!

THIS IS SOOOO FUCKIN' GOOD.!! Wolftooth is a fresh band from Richmond, Indiana consisting of four guys who are not new to the metal scene. To me it's unclear in which bands they've played before they've founded Wolftooth. Seemingly popped out of nowhere, this needs full attention.! Their style ranges from 70's rock, 80's & 90's stoner rock to melodic doom. You might hear a lot of influences on this really impressive album like Sleep, The Sword, Angel Witch, Earth Witch, Green Yeti, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, a bit of Baroness and a bit of stoned Mastodon. This is their debut album and it's full of dynamic big stoner riffs, precise hitting drums and bluesy, melodic vocals. Shit, the vocals are fuckin' huge.!! For a debut album the production is absolutely remarkable. Just digital released, this album will see the light of day in physical formats on march 5 this year (cd) through Blackseed Records and in may (vinyl) through Cursed Tongue Records.
I bet we'll see this band sharing stages with some of the greatest bands in stoner rock and doom in the coming future. If you like this album, pleeeaaase buy it.! This is absolutely worth it and they deserve every support they can get.! It's simply a big stoner rock delight. God damn, i love it.!

Multi-Instrumentalist Jon Shuemaker has been slowly and steadily releasing completely DIY albums over the last few years.
He first appeared as a drummer on the debut album of a progmetal band called Mind's I.
Since their dissolution, he has explored many different styles and genres; all centered around being somewhat left-of-center.

The music on 'Shadows Of The Mind' is rhythmically engaging while retaining a great sense of melodic direction. It is hypnotic without feeling pointless. It is hard to categorize in any particular category as it might bend genre from riff to riff.
Definitely a good palette cleanser, and definitely some of his heavier output.
