Kontaminate is a band from Richmond, VA who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Kontaminate features members of Jackal, Nosebleed, and Deviant, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Kontaminate play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Kontaminate can be loosely compared to band such as Impalers, Moment Of Fear, Rakta, Acrylics, and other like-minded bands. Blood Hunger is the band's debut five song demo, which was released via 11PM records on January 1st, 2021. On Blood Hunger, Kontaminate offer up five tracks of raw, ugly, and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and d-beat. Overall, Blood Hunger makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
