Worsen is a three piece band from Jacksonville Florida who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Worsen features members of Ives and Floridian Winter and the band play a vicious and chaotic as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, d-beat, black metal, and grindcore within their sound.  Musically, Worsen can be said to be compared to bands such as Seizures, Cloud Rat, Bone Awl, D-Clone, and Congenital Death.  Since forming in 2014, Worsen have released a six song demo in August of 2014 and an eight song EP titled Grand Scheme in August of 2016.  Stronghold is the band's debut LP, which is slated for release on May 16th, 2018.  On Stronghold, WØRSEN offer up eight tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, d-beat, black metal, and grindcore.  Overall, Stronghold makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Meatwound is a four piece band from Tampa, Florida, who formed in early 2014, from the looks of things.  Meatwound features members of Combatwoundedveteran, The Holy Mountain, Headless Dogs, and Primate Research, so going on that alone, you know you're in for some amazing music.  Meatwound play a killer style of raw and dirty hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock.  Musically, Meatwound draws from their experience from their previous bands and add influences such as Fudge Tunnel, Godflesh, and Unsane to their sound.  Since forming in 2014, Meatwound has released a six song 12" titled  Addio in July of 2015 and a seven track LP titled Largo in May of 2017.  Trash Apparatus is the band's latest three song 7", which was released via Dead Tank records on August 25th, 2017.  On Trash Apparatus, Meatwound offer up three dirty and brutal as fuck sounding tracks of hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, Trash Apparatus is an amazing 7"  and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Here's a cool split that I had to review after hearing featuring new material from Ft. Worth/Denton, TX based Innards and Jacksonville, Florida's The Caution Children.  Innards are a four piece band from the Fort Worth and Denton areas of Texas who formed in 2009.  Innards play a chaotic, volatile, and abrasive style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and screamo within their sound.  On their side of the split, Innards offer up two tracks of caustic and abrasive sounding post hardcore, punk, and screamo.  The Caution Children are a five piece band from Jacksonville, Florida who formed in 2005.  The Caution Children play an atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, punk, and screamo within their sound.  On their side of the split, The Caution Children offer up two tracks of tense, moody, and atmospheric sounding post hardcore, post rock, and screamo.  Overall, this is a killer split and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  This split 7" was released via Skeletal Lightening records on January 15th, 2016.

Fero Lux is a four piece band from Boward County, Florida who formed in October of 2010.  Fero Lux play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcorre, punk, post hardcore, math rock, and noise core within their sound.  Fero Lux cite At The Drive- In, Botch, The Red Light Sting, Poison The Well, Dillinger Escape Plan, Cave In, Pg. 99, Refused, Deftones, Converge, Thursday, Breather Resist, Glassjaw, an Meshuggah as influences, which definitely shows up in the band's sound and style.  Since their formation in 2010, Fero Lux have released a four song EP titled Vaos in January of 2012, an eleven song LP titled Some Divine Ashtray in April of 2012, and a split EP with Courtships in May of 2013.  No Rest is the band's latest twelve song full-length LP, which was released on March 25th, 2016.  On No Rest, Fero Lux offer up twelve tracks of chaotic, volatile, and slightly melodic hardcore, punk, post hardcore, math rock, and noise core.  Overall, No Rest is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Great stuff.  Enjoy!
