Dikembe is a three piece band from Gainesville, Florida who formed in 2011.  Dikembe play a meldoic and catchy as hell style of music that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and indie rock within their sound.  Musically, Dikembe can be loosely compared to bands such as Prawn, Have Mercy, Daisyhead, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2011, Dikembe have released a full-length LP titled Every Time You See Me, I Look Like I Hit The Lotto Twice in 2011,  a full-length LP titled Broad Shoulders in August of 2012, a 4-way split with You Blew It!, Nai Harvest, and Marietta in June of 2013, a 4-way split with Hightide Hotel, Jet Set Sail, and Monument in February of 2013, a four song EP titled Chicago Bowls in April of 2013, a split 7" with Jazz June in May of 2014, a full-length LP titled Mediumship LP in July of 2014, a four song EP titled Ledge in June of 2015, a compilation LP of all their splits titled Maturity Is Overrated in September of 2015, a live LP titled Live At Loosey's in February of 2016, an eleven song LP titled Hail Something in July of 2016, and an eleven song LP titled Muck in August of 2020.  Overeall,   Dikembe really is an infectiously catchy band and is an absolute must listen for fans of Prawn, Superheaven, Citizen, Basement, Have Mercy.  Enjoy!
