Luggage is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Luggage play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, post rock, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Luggage can be loosely compared to bands such as Unwound, Slint, Rodan, Sonic Youth, My Disco, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Luggage have released an eight song LP titled Sun in March of 2016, a ten song LP titled Three in October of 2017, and an eight song LP titled Shift in November of 2019. Happiness is the band's latest LP, which was releaseed via Husky Pants records on July 16th, 2021. On Happiness, Luggage offer up six tracks of tense, discordant, and moody sounding minimalist post punk, post rock, and noise rock. Overall, Happiness makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
