Rainmaking is a three piece band from Portland, Oregon, who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Rainmaking features members of Carrion Spring and The Sky Above And Earth Below, so going on that alone, you know you know you're in for something truly special. Rainmaking play a volatile and chaotic style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Rainmaking can be loosely compared to bands such as Lord Snow, Mahria, Frail Hands, and other like-minded bands. This is the band's debut EP, which was released via Zegema Beach records on July 5th, 2021. On their debut EP, Rainmaking offer up six tracks of cathartic and volatile sounding post hardcore, punk, and screamo. Overall, Rainmaking's debut EP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
