Elder Devil is a four piece band from Fresno, California who formed in early 2017, from the looks of things. Elder Devil play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, crust, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Elder Devil can be loosely compared to bands such as Senior Fellowes, Throes, Nails, SVFFER, Woundvac, WVRM, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Elder Devil have released a six song EP titled Graves Among The Roots in May of 2017, a digital single titled Claire in April of 2018, and a cover of Slipknot's Eeyore in October of 2019. The Light Dimmed Eternal is Elder Devil's debut full-length LP, which was released via Crown & Throne Ltd., Tartarus, and Roman Numeral records on February 15th, 2019. On The Light Dimmed Eternal, Elder Devil offer up thirteen tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, crust, and grindcore. Overall, The Light Dimmed Eternal makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
