Nadja is a two person band from Berlin, Germany who started performing under the name Nadja in 2003. Nadja play an atmospherically dense, ominous, and oppressive sounding style of music that incorporates elements of doom, metal, shoegaze, drone, and experimental noise within their. Musically, Nadja can be very loosely compared to bands such as Isis, Godflesh, Author And Punusher, SunnO))), Neurosis, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2003, Nadja have at least 64 various releases that have been put out over the course of their lengthy careers musicians. Luminous Rot is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Southern Lord records on May 21st, 2021. On Luminous Rot, Nadja offer up six tracks of dreamy, dense, and at times, hypnotic sounding doom, metal, shoegaze, drone, and experimental noise. Overall, Luminous Rot makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
