Outer Darkness is a one person band from Brooklyn, New York who formed in early 2019, from the looks of things. Outer Darkness play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, blackgaze, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Outer Darkness can be loosely compared to band such as early Deafheaven, Amber, Blue Noise, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2019, Outer Darkness have released a four song EP titled Alters Of The Subaltern in June of 2019. Ten Acres Of Hell is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on January 26th, 2021. On Ten Acres Of Hell, Outer Darkness offer up seven tracks of killer black metal, blackgaze, and screamo. Overall, Ten Acres Of Hell makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
