Empath is a four piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Empath play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, grunge, indie rock, and alt. rock within their sound. Musically, Empath can be loosely compared to bands such as Crystal Castles, Neon Piss, Longings, and other like-minded bands Since forming in 2016, Empath have released a two song EP titled Crystal Reality in March of 2016, a four song EP titled Crystal Reality Volume II in June of 2016, a four song EP titled Liberating Guilt And Fear in March of 2018, and a two song EP titled Environments in July of 2018. Active Listening: Night On Earth is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Get Better records on May 3rd, 2019. On Active Listening: Night On Earth, Empath offer up nine tracks of killer experimental post punk, punk, grunge, indie rock, and alt. rock.
