Shadow Snakes is a four piece band from Syracuse, New York and Louisville, Kentucky who formed in late 2017, from the looks of things.  I'm absolutely gushing about this band right now because Shadow Snakes is essentially comprised of 3/4 of the band Ed Gein and the lead singer from Breather Resist.  Going on that pedigree alone, you know you're in for some really amazing jams.  Shadow Snakes play an amazing style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Shadow Snakes can be loosely compared to bands such as Achilles, Engineer, Brain Banger, Suicide Note, Coalesce, Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye, Bone Dance and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2017, Shadow Snakes have released a self-titled LP in August of 2018 and a four song EP titled Bad At Parties in October of 2019. Self Titled/Bad At Parties is the band's latest release which was released  via Cult Of Nine records and via The Ghost Is Clear records on December 13th, 2020.   Self Titled/Bad At Parties compiles both of Shadow Snakes LP and follow-up EP onto one album for your convenience.
