Blood Sun Circle is a four piece band from Syracuse, NY who formed in 2012. Blood Sun Circle features members of Engineer, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Blood Sun Circle play a dark and moody style of music that incorporates elements of noise rock, grunge, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Blood Sun Circle can be loosely compared to bands such as Young Widows, Late-era Suicide Note, Blood Pheasant, Passing Phases, Tideland, True Widow and Sweet Cobra. Since forming in 2012, Blood Sun Circle have released a self-titled EP in November of 2012, an eight song LP titled Bloodiest/Sunniest in June of 2014, and an eleven song LP titled Distorted Forms in May of 2017. Deep Cuts is the band's latest, and sadly last full-length LP, which was released on July 16th, 2021. On Deep Cuts., Blood Sun Circle offer up seven tracks of dark, moody, and heavy noise rock, grunge, and shoegaze. Overall, Deep Cuts makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
