Endless Swarm/Pavel Chekov-Split 7" (2016)

Country: United Kingdom/USA
Genre: Hardcore, Punk, Powerviolence
Label: Mind Ripper Collective
Tracks: 14
Length: 9.0'

Here's a killer split 7" featuring new material from Edinburg, Scotland's Endless Swarm and Dallas Texas' Pavel Chekov. Endless Swarm is a four piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland who formed in 2013, from the looks of things.  Endless Swarm play a blistering as fuck and completely unhinged style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and grindcore within their sound.  Musically, Endless Swarm can be said to be influenced by bands such as Pig Destroyer, Spazz, Left For Dead, The Swarm, and other like-minded bands.  On their side of the split, Endless Swarm offer up six tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and powerviolence.  Pavel Chekov is a three piece band from Dallas, Texas who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Pavel Chekov play a blisteringly vicious style of hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and fastcore influenced by bands such as Charles Bronson, Circle Jerks, Infest, Lack of Interest, No Comment, Spazz, and Crossed Out.  On their side of the split, Pavel Chekov offer up eight tracks of completely unhinged sounding hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and grindcore.  Overall, this is a killer split and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  This split was released via Mind Ripper and Anvileater records on January 3rd, 2016.
