ROHT is a band from Reykjavík, Iceland who formed in 2016. ROHT play a bleak and depressing style of music that fuses elements of aggressive hardcore/punk with harsh industrial noise. Since forming in 2016, ROHT have released a self-titled five song demo in March of 2016, a three song EP titled BLOD/HNEFINN/LF in February of 2017, a five song self-titled 7" in April of 2017, and and a split 7" with Dopur in June of 2017. Iðnsamfélagið Og Framtíð Þess is the band's latest LP, which was released via Iron Lung records on October 28th, 2018. On Iðnsamfélagið Og Framtíð Þess, ROHT offer up eight tracks of harsh, ugly, and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and industrial noise. Overall, Iðnsamfélagið Og Framtíð Þess makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
