Criminal Code is a four piece band from Tacoma, Washington who formed in 2011. Criminal Code play a dark, tense, moody, and frenetic style of music that incorporates elements of post punk and punk within their sound. Since forming in 2011, Criminal Code have released a seven song 12" titled Cold Thought in June of 2012, a three song 7" titled Hollowed in September of 2012, a two song 7" titled Sacred Hands in October of 2012, a split 7" with Big Crux in April of 2013, a twelve song LP titled No Device in February of 2014, a five song 7" titled Savage in November of 2014, and a two song 7" titled Solitude in March of 2016. 2534 is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Deranged records on April 20th, 2018. On 2534, Criminal Code offer up nine tracks of gloomy, moody, tense, and frenetic post punk and punk. Overall, 2534 makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
