The Bug is a four piece band from Lansing, Illinois who formed in early 2015, from the looks of things. The Bug play a caustic, vicious, and raging style of hardcore/punk. The Bug features members of Raw Nerve, Strangers, and Bad Blood, so going by that alone, you know you're in for some noisy and unhinged sounding hardcore. Since forming in 2015, The Bug have released a six song cassette titled What's Bugging You in February of 2015 and a six song EP titled Room 44 Sessions in June of 2016. Humbug is the band's latest six song EP, which was released via IFB records on May 30th, 2017. On Humbug, The Bug offer up six tracks of noisy, blown-out, and completely unhinged sounding hardcore. Overall, Humbug is a killer EP and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
