Letters To Catalonia is a three piece band from San Diego, California who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Letters To Catalonia play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence within their sound.  Musically, Letters To Catalonia can be said to be influenced by bands such as Orchid, Ampere, Capacities, and Resurrectionists.  Since forming in 2015, Letters To Catalonia have released a three song demo in November of 2015.  On their side of the split, Letters To Catalonia offer up three tracks of killer hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence.  The second band on the split is ilill.  ilill is a four pieceb and from Tokyo, Japan who formed in 2015.  illill play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of emotive hardcore, punk, and screamo within their sound.  Musically, illill can be said to be influenced by bands such as Funeral Diner, Who Calls So Loud, Damezumari, and Fire Team Charlie.  Since forming in 2015, ilill have released a three song demo in July of 2015 and a split with Machina Rex in April of 2016.  On their side of the split, ilill offer up three tracks of intense and passionate emotive hardcore, punk, and screamo.  Overall, this is a killer split and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
