Riwen is a five piece band from Norrland, Sweden who formed in early 2013 from the looks of things. Riwen play a scathing and ferocious style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and crust within their sound. Musically, Riwen can be said to be influenced by bands such as Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, Cursed, and The Holy Mountain. The Cold is Riwen's debut full-length LP, which was released via Indie Recordings on August 28th, 2015. On The Cold, Riwen offer up twelve tracks of killer hardcore, punk, and crust that's an absolute must listen for fans of Baccus, Planks, Centuries, and other like-minded bands.
