Yarrow is a three piece band from Oakland, CA who formed in 2017.  Yarrow play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, death metal, doom, crust, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Yarrow can be loosely compared to bands such as Vile Creature, Eyehategod, Thou, Barghest, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2017, Yarrow have released a three song demo in July of 2017 and a five song LP titled Rebirth in September of 2018.  We Made What God Could Not is the band's latest LP, which was released on May 1st, 2020.  On We Made What God Could Not, Yarrow offer up four tracks of ugly, oppressive, and filthy as fuck sounding post metal, death metal, doom, crust, and sludge.  Overall, We Made What God Could Not makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Damn, this is an incredible sampler featuring material showcasing new releases from The Ghost Is Clear records and bands affiliated bands of the label.  On their 2020 sampler, The Ghost Is Clear records offer up music from Rid Of Me, Nerver, BIGHAND//BIGKNIFE, Poster Boy, Seaxes, Abandoncy, VAC, Shadow Snakes, Big Water, Prayer Group, Facet, Canyons, Trash Dragon, My America Is Watching Tigers Die, Almanac Man, PINKO, My Condolences, Ekumen, Don't Grow Old, Crowning, Doom Beach, Larium, Easy Prey, Heel Turn, This Is Fantastic For You, and Life In Vacuum.  Overall, this is an amazing collection of bands and really shows you why The Ghost Is Clear records has been one of my consistently favorite label for the past decade.  Overall, Sampler 2020 makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Bruges is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in early 2016, from the looks of things.  Bruges features members of Angry Gods, Den, and Moral Void, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special.  Bruges play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, sludge, doom, and noise rock within their sound.  Since forming in 2016, Bruges have released a self-titled five track demo in July of 2016,  and three singles which were released on September 28th of 2018, November 1st 2018, February 3rd, 2019, and a five song EP titled An Erasure Of Form in April of 2019.  A Thread Of Light is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on June 5th, 2020.  On A Thread Of Light, Bruges offer up seven tracks of raw, dark, and unsettling sounding post hardcore, punk, sludge, doom, and noise rock.  Overall, A Thread Of Light make for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  Seriously, I can't begin to describe how good A Thread Of Light is!

End is a five piece band from New Jersey who formed in 2017.  End features members of Counterparts, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Fit For An Autopsy, Misery Signals, Shai Hulud, and Reign Supreme, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special.  End play a volatile and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore within their sound.  Musically, End can be loosely compared to bands such as Trap Them, God Mother, Employed To Serve, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2017, End have released a six song EP titled From The Unforgiving Arms Of God in September of 2017.  Splinters Of An Ever-Changing Face is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Closed Casket Activities on June 5th, 2020.  On Splinters Of An Ever-Changing Face, End offer up eleven tracks of explosively volatile and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore.  Overall, Splinters Of An Ever-Changing Face makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
