Damn, this is an incredible sampler featuring material showcasing new releases from The Ghost Is Clear records and bands affiliated bands of the label.  On their 2020 sampler, The Ghost Is Clear records offer up music from Rid Of Me, Nerver, BIGHAND//BIGKNIFE, Poster Boy, Seaxes, Abandoncy, VAC, Shadow Snakes, Big Water, Prayer Group, Facet, Canyons, Trash Dragon, My America Is Watching Tigers Die, Almanac Man, PINKO, My Condolences, Ekumen, Don't Grow Old, Crowning, Doom Beach, Larium, Easy Prey, Heel Turn, This Is Fantastic For You, and Life In Vacuum.  Overall, this is an amazing collection of bands and really shows you why The Ghost Is Clear records has been one of my consistently favorite label for the past decade.  Overall, Sampler 2020 makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Nerver is a three piece band from Missouri who formed in 2018, from the looks of things.  Nerver play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Nerver can be loosely compared to bands such as Fight Amp, Canyons, Breather Resist, Desperate, Ed Gein, and other like-minded bands.  Believer's Hit is the band's debut LP, which was released via The Ghost Is Clear, Zegema Beach, and Tomb Tree records on November 22nd, 2019.  On Believer's Hit, Nerver offer up ten tracks of ugly, raw, and ultra-negative sounding post hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, Believer's Hit makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  I'm absolutely psyched to see Believer's Hit finally being given the vinyl treatment and is being officially released on two different color variants (bone and oxblood as well as bone colored vinyl) via The Ghost Is Clear records on July 1st, 2020.

Midwestlust is a band from Missouri who formed in 2018, from the looks of things.  Midwestlust plays a harsh and abrasive stlye of music that incorporates elements of experimental noise, power electronics, and noisecore within their sound.  This is the band's debut EP, which was released via Distorted Visions and Suspended Soul Tapes on August 27th, 2019.  On their self-titled EP, Midwestlust offer up two tracks of harsh and unsettling experimental noise, power electronics, and noisecore.  Overall, Midwestlust's debut EP makes for an solid listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Reminds me a ton of the Drive & Blade Runner soundtracks.

Bummer is a three piece band from Kansas City, Missouri who formed in early 2013, from the looks of things.  Bummer play a highly distorted, dirty, and blown-out style of music that incorporates elements of punk, noise rock, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Bummer can be loosely compared to bands such as Big Business, Jesus Lizard, Bardus, War Brides, T-Tops, Whores, and Buildings.  Since forming in 2013, Bummer have released a three song EP titled Young Ben Franklin in October of 2013, a four song EP titled Milk in October of 2014, and most recently, a digital single titled King Shit in October of 2016.  Spank is the band's third six song EP, which was released via Highdive records on July 14th, 2015.  On Spank, Bummer offer up six tracks of filthy and gritty punk, noise rock, and sludge.  Overall, Spank makes for an amazing listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Gravehuffer is a four piece band from Joplin, Missouri who formed in August of 2008.  Formerly known as KROM, Gravehuffer ply a brutal and vicious as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of metal, punk, thrash, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Gravehuffer can be said to be influenced by bands such as Fistula, Buzzoven, Eyehategod, Gehenna, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2008, Gravehuffer have released a twenty song LP titled Blasphemusic in October of 2013 and a two song EP titled Acute Subdermal Hematoma in October of 2016.  Your Fault is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on February 8th, 2017.  On Your Fault, Gravehuffer offer up eleven tracks of killer metal, punk, thrash, and sludge.  Overall, Your Fault is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

DODECAD is a three piece band from Missouri who formed in 2014, from the looks of things,  DODECAD play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of sludge, doom, noise rock, and math rock within their sound.  Musically, DODECAD can be said to be influenced by bands such as Playing Enemy, Botch, Oxes, Achilles, Coalesce and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2014, DODECAD have released a three song EP titled Impotence in July of 2015 and a three song EP titled Growth in October of 2015.  Impotence/Growth is the band's latest six song 12", which compiles both EPs onto one 12".  On Impotence/Growth, DODECAD offer up six songs of raw and vicious as fuck sounding sludge, doom, noise rock, and math rock.  Overall, Impotence/Growth is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Fulgora is a four piece band from St. Louis, Missouri who formed in late 2012.  Fulgora features members of  Pig Destroyer, Misery Index, Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Dying Fetus.  Fulgora play brutal as fuck, chaotic, and completely unhinged style of music that seamlessly melds elements of hardcore, punk, and grindcore within their sound.  Since their inception in 2012, Fulgora have released a two song 7" titled Risen/Artifice in March of 2013 and a second two song 7" titled Splinter/Crutch in October of 2013.  Stratagem is Fulgora's debut full length LP, which was released via Housecore records on March 23rd, 2015.  On Stratagem, Fulgora offer up seven tracks of savage hardcore, punk, and grindcore that's an absolute must listen for fans of Puig Destroyer, Nails, and Coalesce.  Overall, Stratagem is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
