Hey everyone, I wasn't sure how to bring this up on the blog, or if I even should, but in the end I just thought it was too awesome to ignore. The blog passed 3 Million unique siteviews this weekend! I know a lot of other sites probably have way more traffic than that, but there are a lot of sites that don't even make it very long at all. So I think it's pretty awesome that we have lasted over 7 years and it seems like hitting this number is something we should all celebrate. 

I figured that I could give everyone a little peek behind the curtain here and show off some analytics. As of right now, there are 5,630 posts on the blog, which kind of blows me away. This averages out to around 65 posts a month, or about 16 a week. Insane. As you can see below, things got a little crazy in the fall of 2016 when we hit 85K views in October and then again around the same time in 2017 when we hit 77K views in September. I have no idea what the hell that was all about, but I think it's really cool that things have been really steady ever since then (the little dip at the end is just because this month just started). 

So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that's ever visited or contributed, especially to Chris M, who does the majority of the posting around here. Hopefully we will all be here for a long time. And in case anyone was wondering if we are making money off of these views, I have never, and will never have ads enabled on the site, so that's a no for sure. The cost for the domain and for the chats is very, very minimal to me considering all of the awesome music we get to share with each other.

A compilation 8 track of (most of) all three Cursed albums - I, II, and III. Important notes about this release: We tried to fit everything from I, II, and III, but we found that 90 minutes of tape was the max time we could fit without running into issues. We had to remove the outro tracks on II and III ("Untitled" on II and "Gutters" on III) to be able to fit all three albums. Each one of these is made by hand and recorded in real time on vintage machines using refurbished cartridges and vintage tape. These are playable and meant to be, but also individual works of art.
