Zetkin is a Vienna, Austria based band who formed in early 2016, from the looks of things.  Zetkin play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, metal, and thrash within their sound.  Zetkin's sound can be best described as being heavily influenced by early Bay area thrash,  crust, metal, punk, and early Swedish death metal.  Vanguard is the band's debut four song 12", which was released via Per Koro records on May 8th, 2016.  On Vanguard, Zetkin offer up four tracks of pulverizing and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, metal, and thrash.  Overall, Vanguard makes for a killer listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Dakhma is a three piece band from Grand Rapids, Michigan who formed in early 2014, from the looks of things.  Dakhma play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of dark, filthy, raw, and ultra heavy style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, punk, grindcore, and crust within their sound.  Dakhma's sound is accentuated by scathing female vocals and eerily dark atmospheric passages that give the band's music a dark and sinister vibe.  Since their inception in 2014, Dakhma have released a seven song EP in March of 2014, a two song EP in February of 2015, and a four song LP titled Raze in January of 2016.  Suna Kulto is the band's latest two song LP, which is slated for release via Halo Of Flies records on January 20th, 2017 and via IFB records on January 17th, 2017.  On Suna Kulto, Dakhma offer up two tracks of blackened and punk-infused black metal, grindcore, and crust.  Overall, Suna Kulto makes for an amazing listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Massa Nera is a five piece band from Linden, New Jersey who formed in early 2016, from the looks of things.  Massa Nera play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound.  Musically, can be loosely compared to bands such as The Saddest Landscape, La Dispute, Old Gray, The Saddest Landscape, and Coma Regalia.  Since forming in 2016, Massa Nera have released a three song EP titled Will It Be Enough For You To Keep Going? in April of 2016.  No Estamos Separados is the band's second three song EP, which was released on November 14th, 2016.  On No Estamos Separados, Massa Nera offer up three tracks of very well played tracks of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.  Overall, No Estamos Separados makes for a killer listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Pedestrian is a four piece band from Toronto, Ontario who formed in early 2016, from the looks of things.  Pedestrian play a vicious, and snotty style of stripped down hardcore/punk.  Musically, Pedestrian can be loosely compared to bands such as Gag, Wart Hog, Pregnancy Scares, and other like-minded bands.  This is the band's debut six song demo, which was released on May 10th, 2016.  On their self-titled demo, Pedestrian rip their way through six tracks in about six and a half minutes.  Overall, this is a really solid demo and is definitely worth checking out.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

I know this was already posted back in July, but I received a request to re-post the album and decided to put my thoughts in the mix about the band.  Wanderer is a five piece band from Minneapolis, MN who formed in 2014, from the looks of things.  Wanderer play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Wanderer can be loosely compared to bands such as Reproacher, Lunglust, Hell Mary, and Torch Runner.  Since forming in 2014, Wanderer have released a split with Grim Light in October of 2014 and a split with Anzio in May of 2015.  Gloom Daze is the band's latest seven song cassette, which was released via Tilde records on May 22nd, 2016.  On Gloom Daze, Wanderer offer up seven tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, Gloom Daze makes for a killer listen and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
