With an emphasis on politics, history, and a meager grasp of various theories, Ghostlimb has stayed on a track of pushing these themes that are crucially realized in the trilogy of records “Infrastructure” (2011), “Confluence” (2012), and “Difficult Loves” (2016). Overall, if you are a fan of Super short, super fast, and super pissed off hardcore, then this is for  you.

this came out in 2003 and is the only full length by these guys. been in heavy rotation lately. don't know much about them except that one guy went on to straight to hell and I think they shared a member with backstabbers inc. this is basically a 20 minute ragefest. fantastic shit. love the vocals. high pitched almost Jacob bannon esque ear piercing shrieking. this would be a good soundtrack to the day that I finally lose my shit at work and fuck shit up and take a dump on my bosses desk. get on it.

Holy Shit. I absolutely had to post this after being asked to give this album a spin. Sabrewulf is a band from El Paso, Texas who formed in late 2011, from the looks of things. Sabrewulf play a ominous, oppressive, and brutal as fuck sounding style of music that incorporates elements of death metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Sabrewulf cite Cult of Luna & Neurosis met Ion Dissonance and Blood Has Been Shed, which definitely shows up in the bands sound and style. Musically, Sabrewulf can be loosely compared to bands such as Primitive Man, Hexis, and Senior Fellows. Sangre Y Alma is Sabrewulf's debut full-length LP, which was released on January 27th, 2016. On Sangre Y Alma, Sabrewulf offer up ten tracks of sludgy and brutal as fuck sounding death metal and doom. Overall, Sangre Y Alma is an amazing album and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Fuck yeah.  Here's the latest installment from Los Angeles, CA's Graf Orlock.  Most readers of this blog are probably familiar with these dudes, so I keep this description relatively short.  Graf Orlock is a four piece band from LA who formed in 2003.  Graf Orlock play a mind numbing, chaotic, and brutal as fuck sounding style of hardcore, punk, and grindcore. Since their inception in 2003, Graf Orlock have released a self-titled EP in 2004, an EP titled Corpserate Greed in 2004, a split with Hurry Up And Kill Yourself in 2004, a split with Greyskull in 2005, an album titled Destination Time Yesterday on 2006, an EP titled Destination Time Tomorrow in 2007, an LP titled Destination Time Today in 2009, an EP titled Doombox in 2011, and a 7" titled Los Angeles in 2012.  Crime Traveler is Graf Orlock's latest full-length LP, which is slated for release via Vitriol records on February 5th, 2016. On Crime Traveler, Graf Orlock offer up ten new tracks of killer hardcore, punk, and grindcore peppered with brilliant sound samples that the band has become known for.  Overall, Crime Traveler is Graf Orlock's best and most cohesive album to day.  Seriously, Crime Traveler is completely off the chain.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

White Fire was a three piece band from Kansas City, Missouri who formed in 2012.  White Fire play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, White Fire can be said to be influenced by bands such as These Arms Are Snakes, Aeges, Torche, Big Business, and other like-minded bands.  Since their inception in 2012, White Fire have released a nine song LP titled Tomes in September of 2013.  Burned In Effigy is White Fire's final four song EP, which was released on September 7th of 2015.  On In Effigy. White Fire offer up four tracks of really well executed post hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, Burned In Effigy is a killer EP and it's really too bad White Fire called it a day because these songs really kick ass.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Arms is a one man musical project from Orlando, Florida who features Paul Hundeby, who plays and performs all music on the songs featured on both albums released by Arms thus far.  Musically, Arms play a chaotic and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and noise rock within it's sound.  Musically, bands such as Converge, Botch, Coalesce, and Breather Resist can be good starting points of reference in describing Arms' sound.  Since its inception in 2012, Arms has released one full-length LP titled Bunk Alchemy in October of 2012.  Blackout is Arms' latest full-length LP, which was released on January 30th, 2016.  On Blackout, Arms offer up thirteen abrasive, chaotic, and volatile tracks of post hardcore, punk, and noise rock.  Overall, Blackout is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Ken Burns was a relative short live band from Boston, Ma who formed in 2012 and called it a day in early 2015.  Ken Burns played an emotive, tense, and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of pot hardcore, puk, emo, and screamo.  Musically, Ken Burns can be loosely compared to bands such as The Saddest Landscape, Saetia, Raein, Daitro, and other like-minded bands. As far as recorded output is concerned, Ken Burns released a demo cassette, back in November of 2014.  I'm not sure how many songs are on the demo, because the demo is posted on Ken Burns' bandcamp page as a single track.  This is final three song 7", which was released via Zegema Beach and Miss The Stars records on December 1st, 2015.  On their final 7", Ken Burns offer up three tracks of extremely well executed post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo.  Overall, this is a killer 7" and it's a shame Ken Burns called it a day.  Sadly, I'm late to the game as far as Ken Burns is concerned, but I guess it's better late then never.  Great stuff.  Enjoy!

this shit...this shit right here...is ugly...its mean...its filthy...and its great. this showed up in my inbox a week or two ago and im just now posting it because I just regained consciousness from the auditory beating I got from listening to it. this is the audio equivalent of having a cinder block dropped on your face. in slow motion. and then asking for more. bathe is heavy as hell and just has a seriously dirty atmosphere to carry them along. when I say dirty, think dragged into sunlight or maybe corpsessed. not in musical style necessarily but definitely in the "somethings wrong with me for listening to this and loving it" feeling it gives you. get on this shit. or really I guess I should say get shit on by this.
