Damn, Here's a rager of a three way split cassette featuring a new song a piece by Waterbury, CT's Infinity Land, Huntsville Alabama's Heel Turn, and Chicago, Illinois based Virgin Mother.  On Infinity Land's track, the band offers up one new track of ugly and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and noise rock.  On Heel Turn's track, the band offers up one hardcore, punk, and metal, and Virgin Mother offer up one track of post metal, screamo, and experimental noise.  Overall, this split makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  Under Light was released via The Ghost Is Clear records on June 23rd, 2021!

Virgin Mother is the latest musical project from Seb Alvarez, which started in 2020, from the looks of things.  Seb Alvarez is best known from playing in bands such as Meth., Tweak, Carnivoires At Grace, Cadence Fox, Other Masquerades, etc.  Virgin Mother plays a cool style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, blackgaze, screamo, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Virgin Mother can be loosely compared to bands such as Daughters, Arab On Radar, Loftus, Crowhurst, and other like-minded bands.  It Is is Virgin Mother's debut EP, which was released on cassette via Tomb Tree tapes on May 22nd, 2020.  On It Is, Virgin Mother offer up six tracks of off-kilter and unsettling post metal, blackgaze, screamo, and noise rock.  Overall, It Is makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
