The Customary Silence is a band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in 2008, from the looks of things.  The Customary Silence play a dirty, ugly, and negative style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, metal, grunge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, The Customary Silence can be loosely be compared to bands such as The Jesus Lizard, Hoover, Hawks, Buildings, Unsane, Faking, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2008, The Customary Silence have released a seven song EP in May of 2008.  Foul Thoughts is the band's debut LP, which was released on January 20th, 2011.  On Foul Thoughts, The Customary Silence offer up nine tracks of raw, ugly, and negative sounding post hardcore, post punk, metal, grunge, and noise rock.  Overall, Foul Thoughts makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Snag is a three piece band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in 2015.  Snag play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emo within their sound.  Musically, Snag can be loosely compared to early 2000's Ebullition records style screamo bands such as Torches To Rome, Bread And Circuits, Amber Inn, City Of Caterpillar, as well as more modern style emotive hardcore/screamo bands such as Suis La Lune, Loma Prieta, and Old Gray.  Since forming in 2017, Snag have released a self-titled six song EP in May of 2017, a split with Social Caterpillar in December of 2017, a split EP with Swallows Nest in June of 2018, and a self-titled nine song LP in November of 2019.  Death Doula is the band's latest LP, which was released via Zegema Beach, Middle Man, Sad React, and Long Legs, Long Arms records on July 2nd, 2021.  On Death Doula, Snag offer up seven tracks of chaotic and volatile emotive hardcore, punk, emo and screamo.  Overall, Snag's Death Doula makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
