Lifes is a two piece band from Milwaukee, WI based band who got their start in early 2013. Lifes play a caustic and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, fastcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Since their inception in 2013, Lifes have released an eight song demo in April of 2013, appeared on the Bitter Cold compilation 7" released in July of 2014, a split 7" with Short Walk in February of 2014, a split 7" with Double Me in May of 2014, a split 7" with Suffering Mind in September of 2015, and a split with HIRS in December of 2016. Treading Water is the band's debut LP, which was released via Middle-Man, Here And Now, Knochentapes, and Triple Eye Industries records on June 28th, 2019. On Treading Water, Lifes offer up eighteen tracks of brutal and volatile sounding hardcore, punk, fastcore, and powerviolence. Overall, Treading Water makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
