Eternal Wound - Inextinguishable Hate

More local goodness for me. Eternal Wound out of Lexington, Kentucky play crushing metallic hardcore with death metal and black metal influences. Their side of the Inextinguishable Hate split released Draped In Black on September 19, 2025 has two tracks - "Taste Of Hate" and "Non Deus Meus" - delivering raw HM2-style brutality. The band channels extreme metal aggression into a hardcore framework, blending blast beats, dissonant riffing, and guttural vocals. The band previously released Paradise Lost in June 2024 and a demo in January 2023. Good shit.

FFO: RACETRAITOR, Nails, Gatecreeper, Full of Hell

Exit Life / Rejoice - Split

Exit Life and Rejoice have joined forces and released a split on February 18, 2026 with six tracks of nasty metallic hardcore. Exit Life from Cleveland contributes three tracks of crushing, emotional intensity while Rejoice delivers three songs of aggressive melody and fury. Co-released by Delayed Gratification Records and Armageddon Records on limited red (100 copies) and black (200 copies) vinyl. Artwork and layout by Ilija Necovski. Both bands recorded at different studios but mixed together by Nick Corcillo at The Crypt.

Skives - The Future Is Ours To Take

Instagram - Bandcamp - Spotify

Skives is a crust-punk band based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The group formed from the remnants of several other hardcore and punk bands, including Controller and Take Shelter. The band recently released their latest project, titled The Future Is Ours To Take. The record maintains the band's focus on aggressive sound and social themes, specifically highlighting animal liberation. The cover art for the release was created by the band's bassist, Doug, and incorporates imagery related to the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Musically, the release continues their established style of fast-paced, political punk.

FFO:  Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, From Ashes Rise

Chevalier // Bowie SPLIT

The Chevalier // Bowie split from December plays like two distinct approaches meeting on neutral ground. Chevalier’s side is sharp and to‑the‑point, built on tight structures and a sense of urgency that never drifts. Bowie answer with something heavier and more deliberate, leaning into repetition and weight rather than speed. The contrast gives the split a steady push‑and‑pull without feeling forced. It’s a brief release, but both bands make their case clearly and without excess.

FFO: Geld, Primitive Blast, Frail Body, Jeromes Dream

Nine Necks - Ritual & Demise

Instagram - Bandcamp - Spotify

LA’s own Nine Necks have shed their skin, trading the melodic leanings of their past for a jagged, confrontational sound that feels like a live wire. Their newest EP, Ritual & Demise, serves as the definitive introduction to this intensified era, marked by a shift into far more venomous and "violence-forward" territory. It pulses with a chaotic friction reminiscent of early mathcore legends, yet it remains anchored by a modern, heavy-set weight.

FFO: Ken Mode, Botch, Mouthbreather, Pupil Slicer

Price of Redemption - Demo 2025

Instagram - Bandcamp - Spotify

Price of Redemption is a hardcore/metalcore band from Springfield, Massachusetts, and they’ve just put out a debut Demo. This release is raw and direct, showing off heavy riffs, sharp breakdowns, and tons of no‑frills energy. You can really hear both the hardcore urgency and the darker metalcore edge in the way the songs are put together.

FFO: Shadows Fall, Unearth, Hatebreed, Earth Crisis

Territory // Withdrawal - Hope is Disease / Paranoia is Salvation

Here's a killer split from Territory and Withdrawal. From Bandcamp: "Arizona's TERRITORY awaken from the scorched wastes of the sonoran with 2 new songs of pummeling, bleak, crushing metallic hardcore. Sonically similar to the psychosis of later-era KICKBACK, the darkness of HIS HERO IS GONE and BLUT AUS NORD's twisting, grim riffing." and "WITHDRAWAL lurch forth from the furthest reaches of frozen Hell with 3 songs of fast, Apocalyptic Metallic Hardcore. Labyrinthian hymns for the end-times that bring to mind ALL OUT WAR's violence, the darkness of CATHARSIS and 100 DEMONS taking acid."

PARIAH - Violence Is A Curse

Jesus fucking christ, I am altering the normal program of only posting free Bandcamp releases to bring you Pariah. This is 100% exactly what I want to listen to 100% of the time. This is my dream blend of Harrowed, Moral Void, Cult Leader, Siberian Hell Sounds, Minors, Leeched, Early Graves, Gaza, Deathrite,  Avhath, Svffer, Worms Feed, Trap Them etc. etc. If you haven't figured it out, this is so far up my alley it's almost unreal. But this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, these 4 dudes have been in so many killer bands, such as Geist, End Reign, Cholera, Eyeteeth, Zealots & Thirty Seconds Until Armageddon. I'm probably missing some but you get the idea here. This 12" vinyl that they have unleashed is 5 tracks of perfect, blackened, pissed off, sludge-y, catchy & crusty metallic hardcore blended together seamlessly with glorious feedback (The LP will come with an exclusive Noise track on the B-Side). And while I love a tight 15-minute release, the selfish part of me wishes that this was longer. But hopefully there is more to come from this band in the future.

For now, stream it wherever you do that shit at, or pre-order the vinyl or digital at Bandcamp (Vinyl releases on May 30th). Personally I will be stalking this band on Instagram and YouTube. I hope you all enjoy this too, but I'm willing to bet you will. This is a crushing, oppressive debut, in the best way. Pariah is without a doubt Dead Air At The Pulpit-Approved.

90's Metallic Hardcore worship from this new band from Warsaw, Poland.! Members of Embitter also play(ed) in Incitement, Outbound, Heatseeker and Street Lights. 'Season Of Solitude' is their first output released as a 7'' on february 19, 2018. Embitter are drawing from the 90's metallic hardcore scene and bands such as Congress, Morning Again, Sunrise, Unbroken and Integrity. Although they don't take any risks, this is certainly a solid release. Highly recommended not just for fans of the aforementioned bands.! Enjoy.!!
