Glassing is three piece band from Austin, Texas who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. Glassing play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, post hardcore, post rock, black metal, and blackgaze within their sound. Musically, Glassing can be loosely compared to bands such as Sannhet, Spotlights, Godspeed, You Black Emperor, Amber, Holy Fawn, Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You, Explosions In The Sky, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2014, Glassing have released a two song 7" titled Memorial Day B/W Dead Limbs in April of 2015, an eight song LP titled Light And Death in September of 2017, and a ten song LP titled Spotted Horse in May of 2019. Twin Dream is the band's latest LP, which was released via Brutal Panda records on November 5th, 2021. On Twin Dream, Glassing offer up eleven tracks of brutal and hauntingly atmospheric sounding post metal, post hardcore, post rock, black metal, and blackgaze. Overall, Twin Dream makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
