Black Marble is a Brooklyn NY based duo who formed in 2011, from the looks of things. Black Marble play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of no wave, synth pop, cold wave, and post punk within their sound. Since forming in 2011, Black Marble have released a five song EP titled Weight Against The Door in January of 2012, a self-titled remixes EP in September of 2012, an eleven song LP titled A Different Arrangement in September of 2012, an eleven song LP titled It's Immaterial in October of 2016, an eleven song LP titled Bigger Than Life in October of 2019, and a five song EP titled I Must Be Living Twice in August of 2020. Fast Idol is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Sacred Bones records on October 22nd, 2021. On Fast Idol, Black Marble offer up eleven tracks of bright and hazy post punk, no wave, synth pop, and cold wave. Overall, Fast Idol makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
