Gumming is a four piece band from Richmond, VA who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Gumming play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Gumming can be loosely compared to bands such as NoMeansNo, Dayglo Abortions, Rash, Whore Paint, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Gumming have released a self-titled eight song EP in May of 201 and a thirteen song LP titled Human Values in March of 2018. Overripe is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on May 29th, 2020. On Overripe, Gumming offer up fourteen tracks of ugly and abrasive sounding post punk and noise rock. Overall, Overripe makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
