Holy Death is a three piece from Los Angeles, CA who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Holy Death play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of doom, metal, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Holy Death can be loosely compared to bands such as Eyehategod, Hollow Leg, Junior Bruce, Xibalba, Hell, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Holy Death have released a four song EP titled MMXIX in October of 2019, a digital single titled Pound Ov Flesh in January of 2020, and a five song EP titled Supreme Metaphysical Violence in February of 2020. Celestial Throne Ov Grief is the band's latest EP, which was released on June 5th, 2020. On Celestial Throne Ov Greief, Holy Death offer one twenty minute track of oppressive and brutal as fuck sounding doom, metal, and sludge. Overall, CelestialThrone Ov Grief makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
