Street Sects are two piece band from Austin, Texas who formed in 2013.  Street Sects play a synth/sample driven style of music that incorporates hardcore, punk, industrial, electronic, and nose within their sound.  Musically, Street Sects can be loosely compared to bands such as Youth Code, Statiqbloom, Echo Beds, Skinny Puppyand other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2013, Street Sects have released a two song 7" titled Gentrification I: The Morning After The Night We Raped Death in February of 2014, a two song 7" titled Gentrification II: Broken Windows, Sunken Ceilings in June of 2014, a  ten song LP titled End Position in September of 2016, a four song EP titled Rat Jacket in October of 2017, a two song EP titled Things Will Be Better In Hell in February of 2018, a split 7" with Portrayal Of Guilt in March of 2018, a split 7" with Curse in April of 2018, a ten song LP titled The Kicking Mule in October of 2018, a two song 7" titled Gentrification III: Death And Displacement in August of 2019, a two song 7" titled Gentrification IV: Suspended From The Gallery Rails in November of 2019, a five song EP titled Holiday Bundle in March of 2020, and a digital single titled Diesel Rabbit in March of 2020.  Spent Shells is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released digitally on April 10th, 2020.  On Spent Shells, Street Sects offer up ten tracks of viscerally unsettling synth/sample driven industrial, electronic, and noise Overall, Spent Shells makes for a awesome listen and  definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
