Bambara is a three piece band from Brooklyn, New York who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Bambara play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, death rock, noise punk, and noise punk, within their sound. Musically, Bambara can be loosely compared to bands such as Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Neon Blud, Merchandise, The Wipers, Vincas, The Ukiah Drag, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2012, Bambara have released a six song LP titled Rings in March of 2012, a five song EP titled Night Chimes in August of 2015, a thirteen song LP titled Dreamviolence in April of 2013, a twelve song LP titled Swarm in April of 2016, and a twelve song LP titled Shadow On Everything in April of 2018. Stray is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Wharf Cat records on February of 2020. On Stray, Bambara offer up ten tracks of dark, moody, and tense sounding post punk, death rock, noise punk, and noise rock. Overall, Stray makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
