City Of Iron is a five piece band from Meriden, CT who formed in 2011. City Of Iron features members of CT stoner metal band Insano Vision. City Of Iron play a loud, dark, moody, and heavy as fuck sounding style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post metal, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, City Of Iron can be loosely compared to bands such as Helms Alee, Cave In, Torche, and Aeges. Voidspeaker is the band's latest three song EP, which was released on July 24th, 2015. On Voidspeaker, City Of Iron offer up three tracks of loud, dark, moody, and heavy post hardcore, post metal, and noise rock. Overall, Voidspeaker is a killer EP and should not be missed.
