Dame is a five piece band from Boston, MA who formed in early 2015, from the looks of things.  Dame play a dark, tense, and moody style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, goth rock, and new wave within their sound.  Musically, Dame can be loosely compared to bands such as Eisinores, The Estranged, Night Sins, Torture Garden, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2015, Dame have released a six song EP titled Charm School in September of 2015.  This is the band's latest three song EP, which was released via Charm School records on July 20th, 2017.  On their latest three song EP, Dame offer up three tracks of dark, gloomy, and moody post punk, goth, and new wave.  Overall, this is a killer EP and definitely should not be missed. .  Khmer is a five piece band from Madrid, Spain who formed in early 2012, from the looks of things.  Khmer play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, punk, crust, and sludge within their sound.  Since their inception in 2012, Khmer have released a five song demo in May of 2012, a split LP with After Forever in December of 2013, a ten song LP titled Nubes Que Anuncian Tormenta in November of 2014, a two song 7" titled 7 Infernios in April of 2015, and a split 10"with Livistid in September of 2015.  Larga Sombra is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Halo Of Flies, WOOAAARGH, Long Legs Long Arms, In My Heart Empire, and The Brave Records on August 11th, 2017.  Larga Sombra features eight tracks of dark, casustic, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding black metal, crust, and sludge.  Larga Sombra clocks in at just under 25 minutes, making these eight songs result in a densely packed album worth of music that makes for a caustic and rage fueled exercise in sheer brutality.   Seriously, after hearing these eight songs in their entirety over the weekend, I haven't been able to get over how good this album is.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Holy shit.  This band absolutely rips.  Iron Drugs is a four piece band from Rawtenstall, UK who formed in 2016, from the looks of things.  Iron Drugs play a raw, filthy, and completely blown-out style of hardcore/punk.  Musically, Iron Drugs can be loosely compared to bands such as Gag, The Lowest Form, Hoax, and Gay Kiss.  This is the band's debut six song EP, which was released on March 7th, 2017.  On their self-titled debut, Iron Drugs offer up six tracks of raw and ugly sounding hardcore/punk.  Overall, this is a killer EP and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

It's used in the expression ‘iemand blij maken met een dooie mus’ (making somebody happy with a dead sparrow) which means making somebody happy with something that turns about to be very disappointing.  Dooie Mus play a tense and chaotic style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, emo, screamo, and math rock within their sound.  Musically, Dooie Mus can be loosely compared to bands such as 1994!, Old Gray, The Pine, Cason Welles, Two Humans, Street Smart Cyclist, and Two Knights.  Since forming in 2016, Dooie Mus have released a self-titled six track demo in July of 2016.  II is the band's latest five song EP, which was released on August 7th, 2017.  On II, Dooie Mus offer up five tracks of killer post hardcore, post rock, emo, screamo, and math rock.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Robes is a four piece band from NYC who formed in 2016, from the looks of things.  Guitarist and vocalist Drew Demaio has spent time playing in Gus, Strikeforce Diablo, Argentina, Asshole Parade and Floor.  Bassist and vocalist Dave Diem is a veteran of the same underground Florida music scene and played in Twelve Hour Turn.  Drummer Jeff Gensterblum hails from Michigan and has played drums with bands that include Small Brown Bike, Able Baker Fox, Unwed, States and Kingdoms, and Your Skull My Closet.  Finally, vocalist/guitar player Peter Bartsocas, another Florida native, and now Brooklyn NYC resident has played in Pagan Girls, As Friends Rust, and Bird Of Ill Omen.  Robes play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, post hardcore, shoegaze, grunge, and indie rock within their sound.  Musically, Robes can be loosely compared to bands such as All The Saints, Aegis, and Torche.  Since forming in 2016, Robes have released a two song EP titled Unholy Moon in July of 2016.  Indecline is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Bakery Outlet records on March 17th, 2017.  On Indecline, Robes offer up nine tracks of killer post punk, post hardcore, shoegaze, grunge, and indie rock.  Overall, Indecline makes for an amazing listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
