Sonagi is a new four piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in 2021, from the looks of things.  Sonagi play a chaotic and volatile style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and screamo within their sound,  Musically, Sonagi can be loosely compared to bands such as Funeral Diner, Saetia, The Saddest Landscape, We Were Skeletons, and other like-minded bands.  Pansori is the band's debut EP, which was released on April 5th, 2021.  On Pansori, Sonagi offer up two tracks of chaotic and volatile sounding post hardcore, punk, and screamo.  Overall, Pansori makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Anxious Wave is a three piece band from Providence, Rhode Island who formed in 2017, from the looks of things.  Anxious Wave features former members of Product of Waste, Violent Some and Lowlife.  Anxious Wave band play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk,  post punk, grunge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Anxious Wave can be loosely compared to bands such as Now Denial, Fight Amp, Jesus Lizard, Unsane, Hammerhead, Tad, and other early 90's AmRep style bands.  Since forming in 2017, Anxious Wave have released a self-titled EP in March of 2018, a five song EP titled  Love Quantified in November of 2018, and a split EP with Panzerchocolate in August of 2019.  Complex Needs is the band's latest EP and pre-cursor to their forthcoming full-length LP , which was released on March 26th, 2021.  On Complex Needs, Anxious Wave offer up two tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, post punk, grunge, and noise rock.  Overall,  Complex Needs makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Dumb Numbers  is Australian songwriter Adam Harding, collaborating with Lou Barlow (Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr, Folk Implosion), Dale Crover (Melvins), Murph (Dinosaur Jr), Bobb Bruno (Best Coast).  Dumb Numbers play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze, alt. rock, and indie rock within their sound.  Musically, Dumb Numbers can be loosely compared to bands such as California X, High Dive, Swervedriver, Catherine Wheel, Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2012, Dumb Numbers have released a self-titled LP in August of 2013, an eight song LP titled II in August of 2016, a two song EP titled Stranger in July of 2017,  a four song EP titled Music For Bonnie in July of 2020, a two song EP titled Goodbye Charlie in August of 2020, a two song EP titled I Dreamed I Saw Jack Nance Last Night in September of 2020, and a two song EP titled The Longest Goodbye in October of 2020.  Scars is the band's latest 7", which was released on February 3rd, 2021.  On Scars, Dumb Numbers offer up two tracks of blissfully hazy shoegaze, alt. rock, and indie rock.  Overall, Scars makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

Smirk is a one person band from California who formed in 2020, from the looks of things.  Smirk play an energetic lo-fi style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, and garage rock within their sound.  Musically, Smirk can be loosely compared to bands such as The Fallouts, Wipers, Gang of Four, and other like-minded bands.  Since forming in 2020, Smirk have released a six song self-titled cassette in May of 2020, a five song cassette titled II in September of 2020, a digital single titled Holy Ground in December of 2020, and a sixteen song cassette titled Smirk In Friends Mixxxtape in April of 2021.  This is Smirk's debut full-length LP, which was released via Feel It records on March 5th, 2021.  On their self-titled LP, Smirk offer up twelve tracks of energetic and catchy as hell sounding punk, post punk, and garage rock.  Overall, Smirk's debut LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
